Steven Leskovich has called Florida home for nearly 30 years. From the day he arrived, he built his life, his family, and his career here — working tirelessly to serve Floridians and stand up for justice.

Born into humble beginnings, Steven knows what it means to work hard, overcome challenges, and never back down. His journey from a young man with limited resources to a respected trial lawyer, business owner, and elected public official is proof of his determination and dedication to service.

25 YEAR CAREER IN THE COURTROOM

For more than 25 years, Steven has practiced law in Florida, Ohio, and Washington, D.C. As a trial lawyer, he has fought for victims, families, and the rule of law in state and federal courts. He has stood up against powerful institutions, prosecuted criminals, and defended constitutional freedoms.

Today, Steven serves as a public official and as Interim City Attorney of Punta Gorda, representing Floridians with integrity and fiscal responsibility.

EDUCATION & LEADERSHIP

Steven earned his Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School and went on to complete a Doctorate in Education in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California. This unique background gives him the ability not just to fight in the courtroom, but to lead and manage complex challenges with vision and clarity.

COMMITTED TO FLORIDA

Steven has lived in Florida for nearly three decades, raising his family here and serving his community in countless ways. From coaching youth mock trial teams, to volunteering with local organizations, to serving in elected office, Steven has built deep roots across the state.

He is a proud supporter of Florida’s law enforcement, first responders, and veterans, and he believes in keeping our state safe, free, and strong for future generations.
