Lt. Col. David Flippo, a decorated U.S. Air Force fighter and maintenance squadron commander, led over 1,000 Airmen, established three operational bases during combat in Iraq, and later commanded maintenance operations for more than 70 aircraft at Eielson AFB, Alaska.   A native of Nevada and graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, he brings frontline leadership, logistics expertise, and mission-driven decision-making to civilian life. As Chairman of the Nye County Republican Central Committee, he advanced grassroots organizing and civic engagement.  In the private sector, Dave now owns and operates small businesses in Nevada, applying military-style processes to solve challenges facing entrepreneurs.

Lt. Col. Flippo is a current Republican candidate for Nevada’s 4th Congressional District (2026). He emphasizes limited government, fiscal responsibility, strong national defense, energy independence, election integrity, and support for families and small business owners.
