David Covey is a grassroots leader, political strategist, and public policy advocate known for building coalitions, developing local leadership, and helping citizens effectively engage with government. With experience spanning public policy, legislative affairs, party leadership, and the energy sector, Covey brings a practical understanding of how ideas become action and how communities can influence meaningful change.

A graduate with both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Juris Doctor, Covey has served as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Texas Senate, worked in congressional communications, and held numerous leadership positions within Texas Republican organizations. He has led county, regional, and statewide initiatives focused on grassroots engagement, voter education, leadership development, and organizational growth. He has also served as Fire Commissioner for Orange County Emergency Services District #4 and has been recognized by Texas leaders for his commitment to civic engagement and grassroots leadership.

As a speaker, Covey delivers practical insights on leadership, public policy, grassroots organizing, coalition building, and the growing role of citizen engagement in shaping local and state government.
