Brian Stahl is a Christian, husband, father, law enforcement officer, and lifelong public servant. He has been married to Zoe for 18 years, and together they are raising three children. Their oldest son is a Freshman at the University of Alabama, his younger son is in 8th grade, and his daughter is in 2nd grade.
With over 20 years of experience in law enforcement, Brian has served as a Field Training Officer, Undercover Narcotics Officer, SWAT Team Member, Air Support Officer, and Full-Time Firearms Instructor. Currently, he serves as the Mayor of the City of Covington and a Task Force Officer with the Department of Homeland Security’s Homeland Security Investigations (DHS/HSI). He has been awarded the Silver Star of Bravery from the American Police Hall of Fame, along with multiple awards for meritorious conduct and certificates of merit. Brian has also sat on the Use of Force Review Board and provided peer support for officers after critical incidents. He is a Founding National Board Member of Survivors of Blue Suicide, advocating for mental health and suicide prevention. Brian is running for Congress to bring proven leadership to his community. His priorities include protecting families, supporting schools, respecting law enforcement, first responders and veterans, and building a future that aligns with Texas conservative values. He is committed to safer communities, stronger families, and true conservative values. Key issues for his campaign include responsible government spending, advocating for children throughout their lives (pro-life), modernizing infrastructure, and law enforcement and judicial reform. He believes in continual, practical training for law enforcement and serious judicial reform.

Dr. Gavin Clarkson, Esq., is a Partner at Howard & Howard. He is a Choctaw Tribal Member and the Nation’s Leading Scholar in Tribal Finance. Dr. Clarkson is also a worldwide recognized expert in Indigenous rights. Gavin was the former Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy & Economic Development Indian Affairs during the 2016 Trump Administration.
